We are mental health counselors in Naugatuck, Connecticut. Amy Fauteux, LCSW

Amy Fauteux, LCSW Are you considering therapy? Finding the right therapist can help you work through the concerns that have repeatedly affected you and your relationships. Every individual has a unique set of capabilities and strengths that are utilized to work toward goals. I take an individualized approach to counseling, utilizing a blend of therapeutic approaches, personalized to you. I provide an unassuming, honest, and comfortable environment.

I have over 15 years experience in providing therapy with individuals, couples and families. I work effectively with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, change of life issues, work stress and relationship problems.  I provide court approved anger management and domestic violence classes on an individual basis.

Sara Valentino, LCSW

Sara Valentino is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with people who suffer from depression, anxiety, and  work/family related stress.

During her graduate studies at Columbia University, she focused on domestic violence as it relates  to women and children.  As a therapist, she has a history of working succesfully with trauma survivors and persons with severe and persistent mental illness.

Kristine Burns, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adolescents and adults.

Kristine has extensive experience providing therapy for Depression and Anxiety Disorders. Kristine also has a background in working with Substance Abuse Disorders.

Carrie Scampolino is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in the mental health field for the past 14 years.

Carrie has experience working in adolescent residential and therapeutic day school programs as well as working in a hospital setting for the past 11 years treating children, adolescents and adults for a variety of behavioral, mental health and substance abuse related issues.

Carolyn Shay

Carolyn Shay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She worked in the medical field and most recently, for many years, in a local school system.

Carolyn works with children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties at home and at school, as well as with teens and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, and work or family stress.

Donald Mariano

Donald Mariano, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of therapeutic settings.

Concentration on depression, addiction, anger, bereavement, and adjustment issues. Special interest in school related issues such as School Refusal and Social Anxiety.

Tawanna Woolfolk is a licensed clinical social worker who received her education at Smith College School for Social Work. She has worked in the field over the past 10 years.

She has a passion for working with individuals who suffer with anxiety, depression, trauma related and change of life issues, and loss. Tawanna has a background in treating individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and those with substance abuse conditions. Tawanna takes pride in creating a comforting, warm and non-judgmental environment, where personal growth and recovery can begin.
